so there is always a point in an action movie where the “background” ends and the “intro” ends
and shots are fired, and people’s lives are threatened, and the hero must save the day. the hero enters the “action” part of the “action movie.”
in every moment zen, one can imagine that the warrior, having attained enlightenment, is a bit like inspector clouseau who instructs his friend to attack him at any moment in any location, in broad daylight or in the middle of the night, to maximize his own awareness and readiness to do battle instantly.
